Description
Beautiful vintage tureen/serving bowl with lid in Booths “Chinese Tree” pattern, A8001, made in England. This dinnerware is high quality, made by Thomas Booth from 1912 to 1929. I believe it is hand-painted over transferware.
Eventually the company merged and became known as Royal Doulton. This serving bowl measures 5-1/2″ in height with lid on, 5-3/4″ diameter at bottom of the bowl, 5-3/4″ diameter at top of the open bowl, and 9-3/4″ from tip to tip of the side handles. There are no chips or cracks, and only slight crazing in several areas (see picture). Overall, this elegant serving piece is in very good condition. This serving bowl has been carefully taken care of and stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home. For security it will be shipped USPS Priority Mail.
